Fence and gate repair in Rocklin, CA
Leaning sections, rotted posts, broken boards and sagging gates repaired without tearing out the whole fence.
How I approach it
Wood fences here usually fail at the bottom. Posts rot at the soil line, the section starts to lean, and the boards follow. One bad post can often be fixed with a steel post mender or a single new post, without tearing out the run.
Gates sag because they’re heavy and usually hung on the same light hardware as the fence. An anti-sag cable, heavier hinges and a reset latch will usually get a gate swinging shut and latching by itself again.
Good to know
Fences on a property line are usually shared, so give your neighbor a heads-up before the repair.
New boards won’t match weathered ones until they’ve had a summer in the sun or a coat of stain.
